E.J. An was born in South Korea and came to the US when she was eight years old. 

 

She grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and came to NYC to attend Barnard College and to pursue an acting career.

 

She speaks English with a neutral American accent and is fluent in Korean.

E.J. is a self described foodie (raised by a mother who was a professional cook would do that to you), but she has no idea where her penchant for British murder mysteries comes from . . .
